Penelope Darling: 3 Months

Weight: She had her 2 month checkup closer to 3 months (whoops) and she came in at a whopping 11 pounds 4 ounces, and 21 and a half inches long, which puts her in the 25th percentile for each. She was born in the 5th percentile, so her doctor is happy with her growth! She is such a petite little thing, but don't be fooled: she has more rolls than a bakery, the cutest little leg (andbutt) dimples, a glorious buddha belly,  and cheeks that overflow so much onto her chest, that neck viewings are a rare occurrence.

Clothes: 0-3 month onsies are no longer big on her, but she still has plenty of room to grow. She was a few weeks early and is so small, so that on top of it being unseasonably cold is making a lot of the clothes we were given for this time either out of season or not fitting. Its okay though, I mean, if I have to shop, I have to shop #notcomplaining.

Likes: Still enjoys her "independence". She loves "standing" with our help. We just borrowed a jumper for her to use, she loves it...her eyes get so wide, and her mouth is in a constant "O" shape. Of course we do have to slide a phonebook under for her feet to reach, and to wrap a blanket around her torso to keep her in place.

Dislikes: Staying up past her bedtime. She is like clockwork now, we can tell when its 7 o'clock by this little lady, she is oh so prompt! She hates getting out of the bath and being cold...but David suggested throwing her towel in the dryer before we take her out, and now she's happy as a claim!

Social: Still loves being held by anyone, no huge preferences yet. She flirts all the time, flashing that big gummy smile all day long. She has been laughing for a few weeks now, but she is just now starting to belly laugh every now and then. The things parents do to hear that, right?! A friend gave us a baby carrier, and she loves facing out on that and watching the world go by. She could live in that and be happy as long as I'm walking around showing her the world.

Milestones: Still working on holding that head up! She's doing great! Such a determined little babe. Starting to blow little bubbles, its so sweet (and wet).
