We celebrated Ben's birthday party on a stormy (severe thunderstorms all day!) dreary January day. The theme was so fitting though, we threw a fiesta! Such a bright, fun, colorful way to brighten the day! We had tacos (he loves beans and corn lately, so he was in heaven!) and tres leches cake (and funfetti!) and it was so special to celebrate with all of his friends and family. We always make a bigger dear out of the first birthday party, in terms of just inviting all those who are dear to us to celebrate with. We love acknowledging that first year, how hard it can be, how joyful it is, all the milestones and everything else that it brings. This sweet little party was such a perfect fit for Bens personality: he is so joyful, happy, full of life and just pure sunshine! Happy birthday sweet Benji boy!
