Benjamin Harner: 2 months

Weight: huge. haha, but really, he is a big guy! last week at his 2 month checkup, he was 1 ounce shy of 12 pounds. He is 86% for height, and 42% for weight (when compared with boys of the same height). So, following VERY closely in his brothers footsteps.

Clothes: goodness, his footed 0-3/3 month onesies are nearly too short. Everything without feet fits perfectly around the rest of him, though! But his pants are all too short. He may have worn a 6 month pair of pants/shirt from his Nena the other day and it totally fit.

Likes: He truly is pretty easy to please. He loves to have something to look at...we often put him in his chair in front of the back door to look outside and he is so calm when we do that. He usually ends up falling asleep. He loves being in his green pillow on his tummy to look around, or on his back (with a pillow under it to make it more upright) so he can look around like such a big boy. Hes fine with bathtime but its not his favorite. He loves when we give him all our attention and just talk to him, he just beams. I move him from room to room with me on his pillow while I'm doing chores and he's content as can be watching me. He loves daddy, of course, and we can get laughs out of him pretty easily with a little tickle under his chin (Penny likes to try this too, though her tickles can be a little aggressive, haha! She usually gets him to smile or chuckle, though). He loves his little play gym, and its the only thing to date outside of us that can make him laugh! He smiles so hard at those lights, its adorable! Its finally getting sunny enough out for walks and playing outside. He loves being outside, its all of course so brand new to him and so its a brand new "thing" that he gets to take in. He loves stroller rides and sitting on his green pillow and blanket in the backyard.

Dislikes: getting a new diaper, and feeling left out! He doesn't dislike too much though, he really is so low maintenance.

Social: super super social. He definitely takes after sister in that way. He loves having someones attention, its precious.

Milestones: He went to Sunday school for the first time yesterday morning! And last night during Life Group, AND this morning when I was at moms coffee and was a pro each time. He also smiles and LAUGHS, like true little belly laughs, and its so so wonderful. He is such a happy, lively little guy. He sleeps pretty well, currently waking up 2 times a night (except the last 2 nights, naughty!) The worst "milestone" yet was his first little sunburn he got two days ago. It was the first sunny, and warm day we'd had in weeks! So we took advantage and were all outside for 7 hours straight! From right after church, until Life Group, and sweet Ben got a sunburn on his little nose and cheeks, poor guy! He so enjoyed being outside though, next time I'll have to give him a bit more shade.
