Benjamin Harner: 18 months

Weight:  Ben is in the 99th percentile in height (we're not surprised!) and is 48th percentile in weight (not surprised about that one, either). He stood on the big kid scale today at his appointment and was so proud (after watching big sister Penny do the same first!)

Clothes: He is in 18 months still and it fits perfectly. He is wearing shorts and t-shirts, so we don't have to worry about length and things getting too short on him. Hes pretty lean so they fit great! I tried on a pair of 2t pants on him today, and he was swimming in them.

Likes: Popsicles, ha! He just gets SO excited to eat popsicles. He is adventurous and brave (yet cautious), climbing up the ladder of his playhouse and down the slide, over and over and over. He loves going outside in the morning and exploring and walking around. He loves when Penny and Wes let him play with them, though he can be a bit destructive with their toys while they're mid play! He absolutely ADORES Amelia. He beams when he sees her under her gym or in the crib first thing in the morning or after her naps. He loves giving her big, open mouth, tongue out kisses, and big hugs. He just loves her, and we love watching them together. Penny and Wes make him laugh, especially with their funny faces. He loves to wrestle with daddy. He loves his scooter, we couldn't believe how quickly he picked it up! He loves his toy lawnmower, and the baby doll stroller. He loves to dance when there is music....which is just him spinning in circles, and its precious.

Dislikes: Not getting the food that Penny and Wes have, or when we take toys away from him. Or when he wakes up and that 10 minutes between when he's away and before I give him his morning eggs. He is HANGRY!

Social: SUCH a social butterfly. He loves being around us and friends and Penny and Wes and Amelia. He takes after his big sister with this! He has a best friend, Judah, and they play so well together.

Milestones: He isn't much of a talker, which is surprising with how big his personality is. He takes after Wes with speaking...very few words. He said "yeah" about 100 times a day for the last 3 months, but has slowly shifted lately into his version of daddy...."yeah-dy". He says "mama" sometimes, usually when he's sad. He learned to ride a scooter (without any help or instruction....just walked over to it, hopped on, and did it perfectly). He seems pretty athletic so far!
