Weight: He's still our big ol' stuffed turkey! He is in the 75th percentile in height, and weighs 82% more than boys who are the same height.
Clothes: 6 month clothing is getting too snug, at least footed onesies are pretty much out the window. Shirts and pants fit still, but won't for much longer. He wears 9 month clothing pretty wonderfully, and some 12 month fits him. He even has a set of 18 month pjs that fit him perfectly.
Likes: His sister. She can make him laugh so much, it is the sweetest. He loves his dad and looks up to him so much already. I keep telling David he needs to teach me to play his guitar, because whenever he plays it, Wes is immediately relaxed and just so content. I'm not going to lie, though, he is a mama's boy too! He is so sweet and I absolutely love making him giggle. He still loves cloth, and chewing on it in any form. He loves bath time now with his sister, especially since he's sitting up on his own without his bath sling! He is enjoying his baby food more, he and Penny share pouches, he's such a fan. He LOVES bananas and pears.
Dislikes: Veggies. He isn't like his sister where food is concerned. He loves bananas, and hates his veggies. She of course was, and is, the total opposite. He doesn't like being alone, he needs a companion. He needs his sister to play with, or at least his sister playing in the room so he can watch. He is even pretty content watching me clean, but he needs a friend for sure! You can tell when Wes dislikes something because he furrows his brow and blows raspberries. sooo angry ;)
Social: He loves observing. Like I said before, he loves watching Penny (and friends) play. He loves looking around, and taking everything in. He laughs so much when his sister is being silly. He wants so badly to interact with her and join in on the fun.
Milestones: He has totally mastered sitting up! I am so proud of him. He is even getting onto all fours, trying his best to begin to learn to crawl, such a strong boy! He gets to sit in the bathtub without his sling, and splashes so much with Penny. He LOVES playing with her, it is the sweetest to watch. Food! He is doing great with eating, though I still prefer breastfeed...so convenient! But I want to get him more on solids for his sake, keep his sweet tummy full longer.
