Overdue.

Remember that one time I dropped off the face of the earth?
Well, I finally found its face again and climbed back on.
(for a moment.)

I disappeared for a few days, weeks, months, but for good reason!
Scouts honor.

David and I bought a house!
A home!
With four walls, and none of them touch someone else's!
And it has a backyard!
With a fence!
And I wont have to tip-toe around for the "neighbors downstairs"
because we don't have neighbors downstairs!
(except for the occasional chipmunk.)
And I wont have to hit the ceiling with a broom to quiet the upstairs neighbors!
And David wont have to answer the door when they come-a-knockin' asking why we're pounding on the ceiling!
And he wont have to lie and tell them that they just have to be quiet because his very pregnant wife needs rest!
(all lies, and I nearly fainted when I heard him tell them that I was pregnant, because I'm not. I'm not you hear me! but hey, it worked. Never heard a peep again. Although I have yet to overcome the guilt.)

Although I've lost over a dozen followers
(hey, this place has been dry lately, I don't blame them. I would have unfollowed me if I could.)
I want to post house before and afters as they happen.

Closing is on Thursday, and I couldn't be more excited.
(especially to paint those walls, ick.)
